Terms & Conditions – The NeuroTribe Teens Addition Membership

1. Overview + Intentions

The NeuroTribe Teens Addition is a supportive, neuro-affirming space for teens ages 13–19. This is a coaching-based, skills-focused membership designed to provide structure, support, and connection—without adding to the overwhelm.

It’s a place where teens can learn to navigate the world in a way that works for their brains. A space to be seen, supported, and equipped—with zero pressure to mask or conform.

2. Who This Is For

This membership is for neurodivergent teens ages 13–19 who need a neuro-affirming support team—and for families who need a break from carrying it all alone.

Here’s what this space offers:

  • Coaching and guidance to support teens through transitions like grades 6 to 7, 8 to 9, 10 to graduation, and everything in between

  • Skill-building in executive function, communication, and social dynamics

  • Tools for managing freeze response, overwhelm, and perfectionism

  • Help with school projects, self-care routines, and life skills (like cooking, getting a job, or volunteering)

  • Encouragement to get off screens and into real life, with co-regulation support around healthy tech use

  • Optional add-ons like 1:1 coaching or tutoring support

  • Preparation for post-high school life, with a natural path forward into The NeuroTribe 20s LaunchPad once they graduate

Parents, you’ve got your own space inside The NeuroTribe—this group is just for the teens.

Important note: This is not a substitute for therapy. We provide a ton of support, but if a teen shares anything related to self-harm, suicidal ideation, or mental health crisis, we will immediately notify the parent/guardian and work in partnership with a licensed therapist when appropriate.

3. Membership Inclusions

Your teen’s membership includes:

  • Live and/or recorded group coaching calls

  • Access to ND-informed resources and tools for daily life, emotional regulation, and executive functioning

  • A moderated, private online community built with safety, inclusivity, and co-regulation in mind

  • Opportunities to learn essential life skills, develop autonomy, and practice emotional flexibility

  • Add-on options for 1:1 coaching or academic tutoring

The content evolves based on the needs of the community—because that’s how real support works.

4. Confidentiality & Safe Spaces

We are serious about creating a safe space. Teens deserve it, and so do you.

All members agree to:

  • Keep community conversations private—no screenshots, no sharing outside the group

  • Respect personal experiences and diverse neurotypes

  • Refrain from bullying, unsolicited advice, or harmful behavior of any kind

This is a growth space—not a perfect space. Mistakes are part of learning, but harm will be addressed swiftly and, if needed, result in removal without refund.

5. Payment & Refund Policy

  • Membership is billed monthly or annually, depending on what you select at checkout.

  • You may cancel at any time through your member portal. Access will remain active through the end of your billing period.

  • Due to the nature of the program and community access, all sales are final.

  • No refunds are offered for partial use, late cancellations, or unused time.

That said, we are humans. If something major comes up, reach out. We handle things with care, not rigidity.

6. Parent or Caregiver Responsibility

Although this membership is for teens, caregiver cooperation is crucial to keeping them safe and supported.

Here’s what you agree to:

  • Register your teen using their email address. This is very important for onboarding and community access.

  • Acknowledge that you are the legal guardian and are enrolling your teen with their informed consent.

  • Understand that you will not have access to the membership space. We’ll loop you in if needed, but this is your teen’s time.

  • Support your teen’s engagement—making sure they’re safe, respectful, and accessing the space in ways that work for them.

  • You will be immediately notified if your teen mentions self-harm, suicidal ideation (SSI), or any mental health concerns requiring clinical support.

  • You agree that if a situation like that arises, you will work in partnership with us and your teen’s therapist or care team as appropriate.

This membership does not replace therapy. It complements it—and we’re happy to collaborate with your teen’s therapist if needed.

7. Content Usage & Intellectual Property

All materials provided—whether video, workbook, prompt, or discussion—are:

  • For personal use only by the teen enrolled

  • Not to be shared, repurposed, or reused outside of the membership

  • Not to be used in other coaching programs, courses, or published resources without express permission

We work hard to create ND-affirming, trauma-aware tools. Please respect that labor.

8. Tech & Access

To access the membership, you and your teen are responsible for:

  • Using a stable internet connection for calls and content

  • Logging in with the email address provided during registration (again, use your teen’s email!)

  • Downloading or saving any materials before the end of your membership if you'd like to keep them

We’ll provide clear instructions and support if tech ever becomes a barrier.

9. Community Guidelines

The vibe here is real, respectful, and restorative.

All members agree to:

  • Practice consent and care in conversations

  • Avoid giving unsolicited advice

  • Use inclusive, affirming language

  • Show up with curiosity and an open mind

  • Let us know if they’re struggling—support is part of the deal

We’re here to grow, not to police—but we will always prioritize the safety and dignity of this community.

10. Legal Notes

By participating, you acknowledge that:

  • You and your teen are engaging voluntarily

  • This is a coaching and support space, not therapy or medical treatment

  • We are not liable for outcomes based on use (or non-use) of materials, advice, or group interactions

  • You accept that group participation is subject to adherence to community rules and the Terms outlined here

We’re doing our best to build a radically supportive, trauma-aware space—and that means clear agreements help protect everyone’s peace.

Why the Teen Years Matter:

These formative years determine whether your teen learns to embrace their neurodivergent identity with confidence or continues to struggle under the exhausting weight of masking. The emotional regulation skills, anxiety management tools, school support, social navigation guidance, and genuine community they receive now sets the foundation for their entire future.

This isn't just about getting through high school—it's about helping your teen discover who they really are, develop crucial emotional intelligence, succeed academically, navigate social relationships, find their people, and build the skills they need for an amazing future.

❓ Still Have Questions?

"What if my teen won't participate?"
The community is designed to be welcoming and non-pressuring. Teens can lurk, participate minimally, or dive in completely—all are welcome.

"How is this different from therapy?"
We focus on practical life skills, community connection, emotional regulation, school support, and authentic self-discovery alongside emotional support. We complement and work with therapy, never replace it.

"What if they're not ready to unmask?"
We meet teens exactly where they are. There's no pressure to change immediately—just safe space to explore who they are and develop emotional intelligence.

"Will this help with their grades and school performance?"
Yes! We provide executive functioning support, project management help, and social navigation skills that often lead to improved academic performance and school satisfaction.

"What about confidentiality if my teen shares sensitive information?"
We maintain confidentiality except in cases involving safety concerns (self-harm or suicidal ideation), which require immediate parent notification and therapeutic intervention.
